President’s Day is more than just a day when the banks are closed. This day was originally founded in 1885 in recognition of President George Washington, and the holiday became popularly known as Presidents’ Day after it was moved as part of 1971’s Uniform Monday Holiday Act, an attempt to create more three-day weekends for the nation’s workers.
Presidents’ Day is now popularly viewed as a day to celebrate all U.S. presidents, past and present.
We can’t be sure that these past presidents smoked weed, but if they did, here are the strains that they would have loved!
George Washington
The first president of the United States, George Washington is a true legend. Washington is one of the most important historic figures in US history. He was the military leader of the patriot army during the American Revolution and went onto become president from 1789-1797.
